Customers
Look up a customer on your Riverr account so a quote request can attach to the profile you already have.
This is a GraphQL query. It uses your API key (x-uid from Settings → Developer → API credentials). The quote intake key (rv_quote_…) cannot run it.
Query
query CustomerByEmail($email: String, $phone: String) {
getCustomer(email: $email, phone: $phone) {
id
name
email
phone
company
address1
address2
city
state
zip
country
}
}
{
"email": "pedro@promiseapparel.com",
"phone": "+1 (562) 555-1234"
}
Pass id, email, or phone. At least one is required.
| Argument | Match |
|---|---|
id | That customer. A merged profile returns the one that was kept. |
email | Exact, ignoring case and spaces. Checked before phone. |
phone | Last 10 digits. +1 (562) 555-1234, 5625551234, and 562-555-1234 match. Used when the email does not. |
The result is null when nobody matches. When several profiles share an email, the one with the most orders is returned.
Send id as customerId on POST /public/quote-requests to attach the quote without matching again.
Duplicates already created
Profiles that share an email can be merged in Riverr: Customers → Duplicates. Pick the profile to keep. Quotes and orders on the other profile move over to it.
